Made from terracotta, its hand-worked surface is painted and fired to create a textured black finish with subtle variations between pieces. The dark colour emphasises the vessel’s generous curves, while the irregular texture lends depth to its simple silhouette. Set against pale timber, linen or plaster, this decorative terracotta pot brings a grounded contrast to Scandinavian and rustic interiors.

Design Details

Mould-cast terracotta with a hand-worked, hand-painted and fired surface.

Rounded body with broad shoulders, a short neck and a tapered base.

Textured black finish; 32 cm diameter × 40 cm high.

Why It Works

The dark finish anchors a pale palette of chalk, oat and natural timber.

Rounded proportions soften the straight lines of cabinetry and architectural details.

Displayed alone on a low plinth or broad console, its surface and silhouette become the focus.

FAQs

Can Luna hold water or fresh flowers?
Luna is not waterproof and should not be filled with water.
