We focus on a tight, design-led range rather than a catalogue of everything. Every piece at Haven Homestore is selected to work together — consistent in tone, materials, and style — so customers can confidently build a cohesive space without second-guessing.

We prioritise natural materials and timeless design over fast trends. You’ll see a strong emphasis on solid wood, quality veneers, linen, and textured fabrics, chosen for how they look and how they live in real New Zealand homes.

• A headboard can quietly set the tone for an entire bedroom. Haven’s collection of contemporary bedroom headboards brings together tactile upholstery, natural timber, woven rattan and considered forms selected to create a sense of warmth, softness and visual balance.

From restrained Scandinavian-inspired silhouettes to more sculptural and textural designs, each headboard is chosen for the way it works with linen, bedside furniture and the broader rhythm of the room. Natural materials, thoughtful proportions and subtle detailing reflect Haven’s approach to slow living — creating bedrooms that feel calm, personal and collected rather than overly styled.

Explore upholstered headboards, timber designs and woven bedheads chosen to bring lasting character to everyday spaces.

• Introduce natural texture on a smaller scale with Haven Homestore’s collection of small hide rugs and decorative hides. Each piece has its own distinctive colouring, markings and irregular form, making the natural variation an integral part of its character.

Ideal for layering beside a bed, beneath a chair, across a bench or within a quiet corner, small hide rugs bring warmth and organic softness without the visual weight of a larger floor covering. Smaller hides can also be used decoratively to introduce texture across furniture and other interior surfaces.

Selected for their tactile quality and individuality, these natural hides sit comfortably within contemporary, Scandinavian, coastal and relaxed interiors.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2012 by graphic designer Kristina Dam, Kristina Dam Studio brings an art-led sensibility to contemporary Scandinavian furniture and objects. The collection is defined by what the studio calls “sculptural minimalism” — clean architectural forms, restrained monochromatic palettes and a strong emphasis on proportion, material and structure.

Spanning furniture, sculpture, wall objects and decorative pieces, the range draws closely on architecture and graphic design, with natural materials, tactile surfaces and geometric silhouettes giving each piece a distinct visual presence. Oak, steel, stoneware and terracotta are used to create designs that feel considered rather than decorative for decoration’s sake, sitting comfortably within contemporary, Scandinavian and Japandi-inspired interiors.

At Haven Homestore, Kristina Dam Studio represents a more sculptural approach to everyday interiors — pieces that bring form, texture and quiet architectural character into the home.
