Will every plate look exactly like the image?
No. Riverstone is a natural material, so colour, pattern, texture and edge formation will vary from piece to piece. These variations are part of the character of the design.

Can the plates go in the dishwasher?
No. Clean them by hand using warm water, mild soap and a coarse brush. They should be washed thoroughly before first use.

Does the stone need to be treated before use?
Yes. Because natural riverstone is porous, MUUBS recommends applying a thin layer of neutral, food-grade oil before use. Allow it to penetrate for a few hours, then wipe away any excess; the treatment can be repeated as required and may slightly deepen the colour of the stone.
