The Margaux Counter Stool brings an easy warmth to the kitchen, with its solid oak frame and woven natural rattan details softening the look of modern cabinetry and stone benchtops beautifully. At a standard 65cm counter height, it’s designed for everyday NZ living — whether that’s slow breakfasts at the island, evening wine while cooking, or catching up with family at the end of the day. The gently curved silhouette feels relaxed and refined at the same time, while the natural materials give it that timeless, collected feel that never dates. FAQ
Is the Margaux Counter Stool the right height for my kitchen?
Yes — the 65cm seat height is designed for standard kitchen counters and islands commonly used in NZ homes. We generally recommend allowing around 25–30cm between the seat and underside of the benchtop for comfortable seating.
Is natural rattan durable for everyday use?
Absolutely. Natural rattan is both lightweight and surprisingly strong when properly woven and cared for. The oak frame provides sturdy support for daily family use.
How do I care for the oak and rattan finish?
Dust regularly with a soft cloth and avoid prolonged moisture exposure. For the rattan, occasional gentle vacuuming with a brush attachment helps keep the weave looking fresh and clean over time.
